Permission Policy for Contacts
At Benchmark Email, we take permission-based marketing seriously. To protect your reputation and ours, we require that all contacts imported to our platform include only those who have voluntarily opted in to receive your emails. This means that any contact you import gave you permission to email them.
Permission Confirmation Checklist
Please make sure you can confidently agree to each statement below:
My list is permission-based.
Everyone on your list has explicitly given you permission to email them. No assumptions, no gray areas.
My list is not purchased, rented, or borrowed.
You cannot use contact lists from third-party sources, even if they claim to be “opt-in.”
My list does not include shared or group email addresses.
Every email on your list should belong to an individual and should not be role-based, like
sales@orinfo@.
My list does not contain scraped or harvested addresses.
All contacts must have willingly shared their email with you, not pulled from websites, social media, or directories.
Why This Matters
We’re committed to protecting the deliverability and integrity of every email sent through Benchmark. If your list doesn't meet these requirements, you risk high bounce rates, spam complaints, and even permanent account suspension.
